Whether it is navigating school pressure, peer issues, depression, anxiety, anger management, family changes such as a divorce or loss, mood instability or whatever the unique situation facing your adolescent might be, we offer individualized support to help them lead more fulfilling lives.
When working with adolescents, ages 13-17 and pre-adolescents 9-12 we integrate a variety of methods including talk therapy, activity therapy, expressive arts and sand tray therapy to meet the needs and preferences of the adolescent while working through behavior, social, school, peer and life transition difficulties.
In working with adolescents, we partner with parents/caregivers to help them balance their adolescence need for independence with creative and supportive parenting approaches. Parents/caregivers are involved in the process through parent/caregiver consultation sessions.
