Certified Autism Specialist
In celebration of each individual’s strengths and unique qualities, I offer an individualized approach that is tailored to each client and their family while being sensitive to the client’s developmental needs. I understand that there are many things in life that influence you and take a toll on your emotional well-being. I believe that with support, guidance, compassion, and understanding, people have the ability to not only find the solutions to their challenges, but the strength to make positive changes in their lives. Additionally, I believe that the ultimate goal is to help clients create lives that bring them happiness, feel meaningful, and are fulfilling. It is a privilege to support my clients on their journey.

My style is practical and comprehensive, and my creativity helps to quickly establish a positive relationship in a supportive environment. I offer play therapy, activity therapy, expressive arts, and/or traditional talk therapy. I have extensive training and experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of emotional, behavioral, intellectual, and developmental challenges.
My specialty areas include ADHD, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Chronic Medical Conditions, Depression, Developmental Disabilities, Grief, Intellectual Disabilities, Parent Coaching, Peer/School Issues, Physical Disabilities, Rare Genetic Disorders, Relationship Challenges, Self-Esteem, and Life Transitions.
I embrace working with parents of my child clients as I believe they are an integral part of their child’s treatment. As a Registered Play Therapist, I have expertise in Parent Coaching/Support that is age-appropriate and grounded in positive parenting approaches. To further my commitment to being a neurodiversity affirming clinician, I am a Certified Autism Specialist and actively involved in the neurodiversity affirming therapy community.
I was honored to once again be named a 2023 “Mom’s Choice Therapist” by Dallas Child Magazine. As a way to give back to the community, I currently serve on Journey of Hope’s Board of Directors (a non-profit that provides immediate and long-term bereavement support for children, teens, and adults) and previously have been appointed to both the Texas Association for Play Therapy ~ North Texas Chapter Board as Treasurer and Oak Hill Academy’s Professional Advisory Board.
